What is Washi Tape and why do I need it? This has been the question I’ve been asking every since I ordered the Epic Day This & That Journal Bundle. Washi tape is a new product carried by Stampin’ Up! but it isn’t new to the crafting world. Its origins are from Japan and it is basically decorated masking tape. Washi tape has all the wonderful qualities of masking tape in that it is so easy to use and tear, but it is additionally semitransparent which allows the color underneath to show through.
I saw a similar card to mine at the St. Louis Regional Stampin’ Up! event. So easy! You just layer the tape any which way and then stamp on it. I probably should have stopped stamping after the greeting, but my other new purchase, Designer Typeset Photopolymer Stamp Set, was begging me to use it (yes, I did actually hear it!). The clear stamp images on clear blocks were very easy to line up and stamp with.
Don’t forget that the Epic Day This & That Bundle is only available as a bundle at a 15% discount through the end of April.
I can’t wait to stamp again tomorrow! So many new “toys” to play with!
