Simply One Stamp Set & Four Colors

IMG_1400Confession time…. my stamping space at home is a disaster area!  Each day I wake up thinking that today is the day I’m going to clean it up….however, today wasn’t that day either.  In the small 1 sq. ft. of table space I had available, I decided to make some simple notecards using only 4 colors and 1 stamp set. I needed a bunch of thank yous to send to my customers who have ordered Paper Pumpkin.

IMG_1394I chose four retiring colors to use: Certainly Celery, Riding Hood Red, Not Quite Navy and More Mustard.  Any time you want use color to drive your project, you can choose a red, blue, yellow and green from any color family and they will usually work well together!  Try it!

Next time you get stuck in your stamp space coming up with a card, go back to the basics of colors and images. The Oh, Hello stamp set has the right mixture of images to give a stamper lots of flexibility.  I had so much fun stamping these notecards today!  My stamp room is still a mess but….there is always tomorrow!
