Perfect Paper Pumpkin Party……Say that three times fast right now! First of all…..my daughter is home from her first year of college and I’m so excited to have her back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We love to spend time together doing all sorts of things! So yesterday, Elizabeth and I spent the afternoon in bed watching the 3rd season of Downton Abbey and assembling this month’s Paper Pumpkin kit together. It was an incredibly fun and relaxing afternoon, and as you can see from the messy bed we utilized all the space. What you can only kind-of see are my two furry boys squeezing themselves into the mix for their afternoon nap!
The first time we heard about Stampin’ Up!’s new Paper Pumpkin promotion was in January at the Stampin’ Up! Leadership Conference. We both signed up for a subscription immediately and have enjoyed them each month since March when it began. This is definitely my favorite kit so far!
This month’s kit is a small album, perfect for any event or person in your life. It came with everything you see in the above picture! We decided right away that we would use the mini albums for the pictures we are going to take at Convention ’13 this summer. Here are just three of the many layouts that we made with the kit. We added cardstock to match the kit colors and make more pages, but otherwise, everything you see came with the kit! Do you know how Paper Pumpkin works? You sign up, like a subscription to a magazine, and each month you get a make and take kit in the mail. The idea behind this new Stampin’ Up! program is to give stampers, both new and long-time, something fun and quick in the mail to whisk them away for some stamping time! All you need is adhesive! (Click on this link to see last month’s projects)
When you first sign up you get the Welcome Kit (click here to see those projects) which comes with a clear block that gets used for all kits that come after that. Sign up for Paper Pumpkin by clicking here or on the icon to the right. Choose me as your demonstrator when signing up and get a thank you card in the mail!
