October Pink

IMG_0521 IMG_0522Today I got out a stamp set that I purchased in 2002 but had never used yet!  Stampin’ Up! offered this stamp set, Hope, for a limited time with proceeds going to the Susan G. Komen foundation. I didn’t know at the time who I might need it for…

I was inspired this month to give something special to my mom and Tim’s mom who have both had breast cancer.  My mom’s battle is still so fresh as it has just barely been a year since she finished treatment.  My inspiration started with coming across a new Silpada necklace made especially for breast cancer survivors.  I’m pleased with how their cards turned out, what do you think?

Stampin’ Supplies

  • Stamp Sets: Hope, Gorgeous Grunge
  • Cardstock and Ink: Pink Pirouette, Whisper White, Brushed Gold CS, Gold Encore ink
  • Accessories: Gold embossing powder, Washi tape, Gold sequins, Melon Mambo riboon

Beautiful cards, Robin! Grunge is the best set. Your Moms will love them.
