Cardmaking never gets old when you consider how many different fun folds, techniques, and layout ideas exist. But when it’s time to sit down to make some cards it is easy to not know where to start. Sometimes it is helpful to have card patterns sorted into types, and if you know the type of paper you want to use then there is your jumping off point!

Stampin’ Up!’s Two-Tone cardstock is a new product to my craft stash, and I wanted to learn more about it by finding fun folds that not only showcase the dark and light shade combo, but also use 12 x 12 paper to create card bases. (Here comes the jump!) I have found five different fun folds that work well using Two-Tone Cardstock.
Here’s Your Homework 😉
- Watch Papercrafting Playdate 154 to learn how easily these five fun folds come together.
- Download the pdf to use as a resource when you are ready to create.
- Grab some Two-Tone (or any 12 x 12 cardstock) and try these five fun folds!

Robin,
Do you still have two tone cardstock paper shares available?
Hi Robin, Love all these cards. It really has inspired me with my lack of mojo lately. Also, I love Jans card (gift card money holder. Would love to see this one demo-ed. I have worked the measurements out but always on the lookout for something a little different that my fellow crafters would like to do on our monthly catch up. I’m also a SU Demonstrator but mainly for myself. Thanks again. Cheers Angie form Aus
Hi Angie! Cheers! Sorry I am so behind in answering my comments. I will look at Jan’s card again and reshare at some future point. Happy card-making!
Hi Robin – I enjoy watching your videos. I am a demonstrator in Wisconsin. I think I have more notes about your cards than all the others that my daughter and I both watch. I just wanted to say thank you!
Hi Lori! How lucky that you get to stamp with your daughter! I’m jealous!!! I appreciate your encouragement. Let’s keep inspiring each other, ok?
