I think when you make cards for fun (like we do) it is easy to have a surplus of cards at times. Today’s 5 Pocket Card Holder or Mini Album project creates a holder that fits five cards (or five photos), and is a great way to give a set of cards as a gift. The 5 Pocket Card Holder is an easy project to put together at the last minute too when you need a last minute gift. This simple card holder can also be used as a mini album for showcasing photos and journaling. All the supplies used to make the 5 Pocket Card Holder or Mini Album are listed and linked at the bottom of this post.

Tips for Converting to a 5 Pocket Mini Album
The 5 Pocket Card Holder can be easily converted to a mini album that will showcase 5 or more photos. Instead of making card bases for the pockets, create single layer mattes for your photos. Because of the single layers you are also able to stuff a few extra photos inside the pockets. Print your photos 4″ x 6″, crop as needed, and mount them on cardtsock.
Now it’s your turn to try the 5 Pocket Card Holder and see what YOU find to fill the pockets! I’m excited to see where your creativity leads you!
