Pop Out Gatefold Cards – Papercrafting Playdate 152

What happens when we take a basic gatefold card and add some extra scoring inside? We get a Pop Out Gatefold card! I’m going to show you three ways to create Pop Out Gatefold cards.

3. Grab some cardstock & pattern paper and start creating some fun folds.

Pop Out Gatefold – Portrait Version

• 5-1/2” x 8-1/2” cardstock for card base
• 5-1/4” x 1-7/8” DSP (4)
• 5-1/4” x 1-5/8” DSP (2)
• 5-1/4” x 3/8 DSP (optional for center spine)
• 4” x 4” Basic White cardstock
• 5-1/4” x 1-5/8” Basic White cardstock (2)
• Two focal point shapes to make tuck closure on gatefolds
• Pop Out feature no larger than 4” x 5-1/4”

Pop Out Gatefold – Landscape Version

• 4-1/4” x 11” cardstock for card base
• 4” x 2” DSP (2) (optional 2 more for back side)
• 4” x 2-1/2” DSP (4) (2 for outside, 2 for inside)
• 4” x ¾” for spine
• 4” x 4” Basic White cardstock
• Two focal point shapes to make tuck closure on gatefolds
• Pop Out feature no larger than 4” x 5-1/4”

Pop Out Gatefold Portrait Split Version

• 5-1/2” x 8” cardstock for card base
• 5-3/8” x 1-7/8” DSP or cardstock (4) (2 for outside, 2 for inside)
• 1-1/8” x 1-7/8” DSP (4)
• 7/8” x 2-7/8” DSP (2)
• 2-7/8” x 1-7/8” (2) for center and back
• Two focal point shapes to make tuck closure on gatefolds
