Let’s tackle another easy card template. This month’s card template, Card Template 38, uses multiple squares of Designer Series Paper to create a quilt-like effect. If you love using card templates as recipes for designing card fronts, then you are going to have fun with Card Template 38.

- Grab your favorite package of DSP or some scraps and start using the template!
Measurements & Directions for Card Template 38
- 5-1/2” x 8-1/2” card base
- 4” x 5-3/8” cardstock
- 1-1/4” x 1-1/4” DSP #1-#6
- 2-5/8” x 2-5/8” cardstock
- 2-3/8” x 2-3/8 Basic White
- 1-1/4” x 2-5/8” cardstock
- Attach DSP #1, #6, the 2-5/8” square and the 1-1/4” x 2-5/8” cardstock in the four corners of the piece of 4” x 5-3/8” cardstock leaving a small margin in between.
- Attach the remaining DSP pieces leaving the same margin in between pieces.
- Add a focal point and/or greeting to the 2-3/8” square or to the 1-1/4” x 2-5/8” rectangle.
Card Template 38 as a Scrapbook Page Layout
By thinking outside the box with Card Template 38, it can be adapted to all kinds of papers and stamped images. One easy adaptation is to use the template’s concept to create a scrapbooking layout.
