Card Template 37 – Papercrafting Playdate 180

Are you ready for another easy card template? This month’s card template, Card Template 37, uses three pieces of Designer Series Paper to create a clean backdrop for a greeting piece and some simple embellishments. If you love using card templates as recipes for designing card fronts, then you are going to enjoy Card Template 37.

  3. Grab your favorite package of DSP and start using the template!

Measurements & Directions for Card Template 37

  • 5-1/2” x  8-1/2” card base
  • 4-1/2” x 1-1/4” DSP #1
  • 1/2” x 5-1/2” DSP #2
  • 2-1/2”  x 3-1/2” DSP #3
  • 2-3/4” x 3-3/4 cardstock
  • 10” ribbon
  • Focal point punch/die cut for the greeting.
  1. Attach DSP #2, 1” from the bottom edge of card.
  2. Attach DSP #1 centered and up against DSP #2.
  3. Attach DSP #3 to the coordinating cardstock and adhere over the first two DSPs and slightly off-centered to the right about 3/4” from the right edge. 
  4. Fold ribbon into thirds and attach to DSP #3 under where the focal point greeting adheres.
  5. Pop up the greeting over the ribbon.
  6. Add embellishments.
