Four Panel Accordion Fun Fold – Papercrafting Playdate 146

Papercrafters love a card design that folds-out in a fun way! The Four Panel Accordion Fun Fold design not only unfolds to reveal a surprise but also showcases your pattern paper. This fun fold is also great for using Two-Toned cardstock or Designer Series Paper as the card base.

3. Grab some supplies from your stash and start creating!

Supplies and Directions for 4 Panel Accordion Fun Fold

• 5-1/2” x 12” cardstock, Two-Tone cardstock, or pattern paper (DSP*) for card base
• 4-1/4” x 5-1/2” cardstock (optional as backing for the card base if using Two-Tone or DSP)
• 2-3/4” x 5-1/4” DSP** for 1^st panel
• (2) 3-1/4” x 5-1/4” DSP** for 2^nd panel front & back (only if using cardstock for card base)
• (2) 1-1/4” x 5-1/4” DSP** for 4^th panel front & back (only if using cardstock for card base)
• 3-3/4” x 5-1/4” Basic White for 3^rd panel
• Focal point in any shape

1. Score at 3”, 6-1/2”, and 10-1/2” along the 12” edge creating four panels.
2. Fold the 3” score line away from the inside of the card. This will be the front of the card.
3. Fold the 6-1/2” score line toward the inside of the card.
4. Fold the 10-1/2” score line toward the inside of the card.
5. Attach the DSP pieces to the panels as indicated above, making sure the 3-1/4” & 1-1/4” back panels are the same DSP pattern.
6. Add a focal point to the 1^st panel
