Two Unique Gatefold Cards – Papercrafting Playdate 135

Gatefold cards are special because they open from the center front of the card instead of from the side like a typical card base. There are so many different ways to make gatefolds, and we are going to tackle two unique versions: Narrow Double Gatefold and Center Pop-Out Backward Gatefold. One of the great features of these two unique gatefolds is that they stand up easily for displaying. It is fun to create a card that not only includes your intended message but also can become part of the recipient’s decor on their desk or on a shelf.

Robin…you and dsp are a match made in heaven; really all one needs to make great cards is the dsp, the dies, and some sentiment stamps. You have once again hit it out of the park. Thank you so much for all of your hard work and creativity and for sharing it with all of us. You are one of my favorite SU demonstrators not only for your great ideas but also for your sharing and kindness. 💕 Charlotte

    Hi Robin,
I made one of these gatefold cards today and I really like the way it turned out. Your instructions were easy to follow, your tutorial was great. Every year I make 30 to 35 Christmas cards for my Daughter’s employees so these gatefold cards will be added the mix of cards I will be making.

    Thanks for the tutorial.
    Mary Ellen
