It’s time to play with April’s Paper Pumpkin Kit, “Lakeside Retreat “. Join me as we put together the cards and use this relaxing kit!

Grab your kit and join me for some creative playtime. April’s “Lakeside Retreat” Kit makes nine cards. I will make three cards as designed by Stampin’ Up! and then make four alternative versions using the supplies in the kit. The photos of the alternative cards are below. Watch the video for the specific measurements used to create the alternative designs on cards #1-#4.

Alternative Card 1 – Fold Back Card

• 5-1/2″ x 7-1/2″ Card Base scored at 1″ from the right side and 3-1/4″ from the left side.
• 3″ x 5-1/2″ and 3/4″ x 5-1/2″ pieces of kit card bases (or your own DSP)
• 3″ x 5-1/2″ basic White for the inside

Alternative Card 2 – Pocket Card

• Cut card front at 1-1/4″ from the right edge up to the score line and attach this piece to the inside of the card along the open edges to create an inside pocket.

Alternative Card 3 – Gatefold Card

• 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ Card Base scored at 2-1/8″ from each edge to create a gatefold.
• Cut the scenic card front in half at 2-1/8″ and attach each side to the two “gates”.
• Attache the focal point on one of the gates.

Alternative Card 4 – Trifold Pocket Card

• 5-1/2″ x 7-3/4 card base scored at 1″ from right side and 2-1/2″ from the left side.
• 3-1/4″ x 5-1/2″ and 3/4″ x 5-1/2″ pieces of kit card bases (or your own DSP)
• 5-1/2″ x 6″ piece of DSP (not from kit) score at 2″ from the left side.
