Emboss Resist Technique 3 Ways
#1 – Basic White Cardstock + Clear Embossing Powder + Blending Brushes + Ink
- Stamp image in Versamark ink on Basic White cardstock.
- Cover with Clear embossing powder and heat set.
- Use Blending Brushes and Classic ink to cover entire surface of cardstock with color.
- Optional: stamp images over the background.
- Use tissue to wipe ink off of embossed area.
#2 – Watercolor Paper + White Embossing Powder + Water Painters + Ink
- Stamp image in Versamark ink on Watercolor Paper.
- Cover with White embossing powder and heat set.
- Create a pool of ink inside ink pad by pressing on the lid while closed.
- Use Water Painters to watercolor over embossed image.
- Dab excess pooled ink with tissue and let dry.
- Use tissue to wipe ink off of embossed area.
#3 – Watercolor Paper + White Embossing Powder + Acrylic Block + Ink
- Stamp image in Versamark ink on Watercolor Paper.
- Cover with White embossing powder and heat set.
- Ink one side of an acrylic block with multiple ink colors.
- Spritz block with water.
- Press block onto watercolor paper over embossed image.
- Lift block and dab excess water with tissue and let dry.
- Use tissue to wipe ink off of embossed area.
