Really Great Gatefold Cards – Papercrafting Playdate 178

Gatefold cards are one of the easiest fun folds to make. Simply adding one extra score line to the card base creates a card that opens from the middle instead of on the side. I have four related gatefold cards to share. They are all similar because they are landscape gatefold cards, and I’ve added inside cards behind the gatefold doors. So exciting! Basic Landscape Gatefold

• 4-1/4” x 11”  card base
• 2-1/2” x 4” (2) DSP
• Focal point any size or shape.
• 4” x 5 1/4” Basic White cardstock for inside (or 5-1/4″ x 8″)

Offset Landscape Gatefold

•  4-1/4” x 11” card base
• 4” x 1-5/8” (3) DSP (or 3-3/8” x 4 (1 piece), and 1-5/8” x 4” (1 piece)). 
• Focal point and small die cut/punch as an embellishment.
• 4” x 5-1/4” Basic White cardstock for inside (or 8” x 5-1/4” scored at 4”)

Centered Landscape Gatefold with Side Seams

• 4-1/4” x 11” card base
• 4” x 1-7/8” (2 or 4) DSP #1
• 4” x 3/8” (2) DSP #2
• Focal point and small die cut/punch as an embellishment.
• 4” x 4” Basic White cardstock for inside (or 8” x 4” scored at 4”)

Centered Landscape Gatefold “Short Doors” that Lock

• 4-1/4” x 9-1/2” cardstock
• 1-1/8” x 4” DSP #1(4)
• 4” x 8” cardstock or DSP #2 
• Focal point shape approximately 2-3/4”- 3” wide
