Today we are tackling Slimline Cards. This type of card base gives you a different kind of space to use your paper and stamped images. If you haven’t tried this kind of card design before you are going to have all the information you need to learn how to make a basic slimline card and some fun variations. Slimline cards are just long and skinny compared to our usual A2 invitation-sized card. It took me a long time to come around to making slimline cards because it was new and unfamiliar. Silly me for not trying them sooner because I found that they have VALUE and a place in my cardmaking repertoire!!!! When you become comfortable with trying something new it opens your world to new possibilities.

Watch my video tutorial to see 3 different versions (Basic, Flip-Flap, and Money Holder) of the slimline card being made plus 2 more versions (Trifold and Cascade) explained. Download the pdf for all the dimensions to make Slimline Cards.
