Easy, quick & stunning! Am I very weird or do you also get super excited when you come across a great card layout? Well I KNOW I’m weird, but hope you are too! This week Stampin’ Up! sent along a great card template in their weekly email to demonstrators. I knew immediately it was a dynamite template and put it right to work, and now I get to share it with you! Check out my Facebook Live Papercrafting Playdate video replay below and download the pdf tutorial for your resources. Enjoy this fun card layout!
Basic Supplies Needed – makes 2 cards
- 4” x 11” cardstock base, scored at 5 1/2” (cut 2)
- 4” x 5.5” DSP (2 sheets that coordinate)
- 2.5” square DSP cut with circle die or punch (cut 2)
- 2.5” x .5” Basic White (cut 2)
- 7” ribbon (cut 2)
Once you try the basic card template layout I challenge you to come up with some ways to vary it by changing one or two things. An easy way to make a variation is to slightly alter the dimensions so that the card base shows around the patterned paper and creates a border.
Variation to the Template so that the card base shows:
- 4 1/4” x 11” cardstock base, scored at 5 1/2”
- 4” x 5 1/4” DSP
This is the kind of template that makes you want to try it with EVERY single pack of patterned paper that you have in your stash (or many different ones) because it makes you so happy! Let me know which pair of cards is your favorite!!
