Using 6×6 Patterned Paper for Template #9

Last week I showed you how to create multiple cards in an easy way using one piece of 12 x 12 patterned paper. My Card Template #9 uses this method to make 8 cards at one time very efficiently. But how do you do this if you want to use 6×6 paper? It’s easy!

8 cards at one time using Robin’s Card Template #9

Supplies needed to create 8 cards:

  • 4 pieces of 6×6 double-sided patterned paper that coordinate in color and patterns
  • 8 pieces of card stock 3/4” x 4-1/4”
  • 8 card bases 5-1/2”x8-1/2”, scored at 4-1/4”
  • 8 punched shapes or die cuts for the sentiment image
Choose 4 pieces of 6×6. Make sure the front and back designs coordinate with each other. You will be cutting the pieces all at once so align the patterns that may be directional so they are vertical.
Cut off 1/2” from the bottom of all 4 pieces.
Save these 1/2” strips for a bonus card or use them on the Card Holder Project.
Turn the pieces back to vertical and cut in half at 3”.
Cut each 3”x 6” strip at 3-1/2”. This will give you pieces that are 3”x3-1/2, and 3” x 2”.
Turn the 3”x2” pieces to the opposite side and match to the 3”x3-1/2” pieces.

For more detailed assembly instructions see the pdf in the Resource Library.

You will love this quick and easy template!
